Of course. May even be another band touring. Many good bands book shows in Vegas. When I went to PLV, I stuck around til the following weekend to see Yes/Carl Palmer/Tod Rundgren (at the same venue, which was the Hard Rock Cafe/Casino that year).

Thanks! I'll definitely be looking into this. Even if only a couple of bands I like, I'm sure I can find something else to do. It's Vegas.

You're right, Doesn't seem to be much in the West anymore; it was sad to see Baja Prog go away. But, there is Psycho Las Vegas in August; not a prog festival, but will almost surely have some prog acts. At least they did in 2017, when I attended to see Magma (which was the single-most amazing performance I've EVER seen by ANY prog band-- they TOTALLY blew me away!) Also saw Swans and Mastodon. I'm not really a die-hard metal fan, but I loved going and seeing the other acts too (on three stages) The energy in the air, and the sea of goth/black was an experience. Unfortunately, I don't think they have the lineup(s) listed yet, but here's some info.. https://www.broadwayworld.com/bwwmusic/article/Music-Fest-PSYCHO-LAS-VEGAS-2019-Comes-to-Mandalay-Bay-20181114 Edited by zwordser - November 23 2018 at 08:02 |

Sad again, because once again no festival for us here on the west coast of America.
BajaProg? CalProg? ProgFest? Where are you? What about Vegas? Got to be a lot of venues to be had cheaply there, and rooms are inexpensive too! Who can make this happen? I need this.
