One of Kate's better albums. I vote for the 9th Wave, although side 1 has the superb Cloudbursting.

Well "Cloudbusting" is my second favorite Kate song, and "Hounds of Love" has that little vocal doot-doot part from "I've Seen All Good People." I'll go with the first part, but after all it is Kate's best album.

It's a bit of no brainer really for side two although as Raff said the whole album is rather wonderful.

Ninth Wave for me, but just by a hair. The whole album is just gorgeous.

Ninth Wave is better, but both sides are excellent.

Everyone I know who listens to Kate only ever really listens to the first side of HoL, but I was curious to see what prog fans think of The Ninth Wave, a sort of mini-concept album of floating across the sea on Side 2 of the album. It's definitely more experimental and thought-provoking than songs like The Big Sky, but certainly not as melodic/catchy...
Anyway, thanks for any feedback
