Oh my.... Thomas. Angel. I loved that band, but haven't heard them in maybe 20 years, because I only had two albums on loan (Angel and Live Without a Net). Should look those up again sometime again.

Hm, a lot have already been mentioned...
Well, I'll add Siberian Khatru by Yes.
And hasn't Spock's Beard made an album called "Snow?"
I haven't heard it, but there might be a suitable winter song on it.
And "The Ice Melts Into Water" by It Bites, but no... that sounds more like a spring song.

Dreamed I was an Eskimo
Frozen wind began to blow
Under my boots and around my toes
The frost that bit the ground below
It was a hundred degrees below zero...
And my mama cried
And my mama cried
Nanook, a-no-no
Nanook, a-no-no
Prog is whatevey you want it to be. So dont diss other peoples prog, and they wont diss yours

Oops! Forgot The Winter Tree by Renaissance. Lovely song.

Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun

I always imagine Arctic landscapes whilst listening to this one.
"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."
