Futures End
Hello friends!
I am happy to report that Marc Pattison, Steve DiGiorgio, Jon Allen, Fred Marshall, and me - Christian Wentz - are plugging away at the writing and pre-production of music for the second Futures End album.
We have been holed up at Chief Dog Studios in California for the past few weeks, digging through stuff that we had put together during our sessions in the past couple of years as well as tossing out new riffs and ideas that may or may not ultimately become songs.
This time around, Steve is more involved with the writing than he was last time and it is going as smooth as I could have ever hoped it would. Three new songs have been birthed and we are all very excited about how things are working out. The music is most certainly Futures End, but it shows an inevitable evolution, a growth that is apparent in everything we are doing. It will be hard to follow Memoirs of a Broken Man - even for us - but even at this stage of the game it looks like we are going to be able to deliver another great piece of work to you all.
I am shooting a lot of video of what we are doing and when I get a minute, I will compile a bunch of it for you all on our youtube channel. Ill let you know when you can check it out.
In the mean time, stay metal!

American progressive metallers SHADOW GALLERY will make their live debut as part of the Triton Power Cruise, which is billing itself as the "first-ever progressive/power metal cruise." The event takes place from April 30 to May 3 and includes the following: cabin, all food on the cruise, a pre-party on Thursday, April 29, 2010, party in the Bahamas, all concerts, meet-and-greet, Beatnik Rhythm Analyzers-sponsored drum clinic featuring Casey Grillo of KAMELOT and more. Optional upgrade will also be available for a private party with all the featured bands.
"We have waited a long time to bring the music of SHADOW GALLERY to the stage," said guitarist Gary Wehrkamp. Aeon Zen update
Time Divide Records Ltd are pleased to announce the line up of Aeon Zen[1] Live and to release information of their debut gigs in London, UK in April 2010.
Joining Rich Hinks (Bass) is Andi Kravljaca (Vocals), Matt Shepherd (Guitar), Cristian Van Schuerbeck (Keyboards) and Mike Lennon (Drums). The live band are using a Roland M400 digital mixing desk linked to Roland M48 individual personal monitor mixers and Roland TD-20KX Drums. The London April gig dates and locations will be released to the Aeon Zen fan list subscribers first before being made public. To be sure of advance notice please join the fan list (if you are not already on it) at www.aeonzen.com/news Rich Hinks (Hometown: Cambridge, UK) says about Aeon Zen live: "I’m thrilled to have such great musicians to play in the Aeon Zen live band. I’m playing bass live using a 6 string Hohner bass guitar." I had a guest solo spot on Rich’s "A Mind’s Portrait" album and I’m thrilled to be playing live with Aeon Zen. I met Rich when I was in Paris (France), but I now live in London. Prior to Aeon Zen I have played in the American band All Too Human as well as recording and releasing my own solo material. I’m kept very busy during the set and I love it!" Mike Lennon (Hometown: Newmarket, UK): "Over a regular three year period Matt and I have played together and it was through Matt that I first met Rich on a recording session in 2007. We then met up 2 years later for this live work and I was thrilled to be offered an opportunity to play live with Rich’s Aeon Zen. I’m using Roland TD20KX drums live giving sampled drums which gives the audience a fabulous sound, true to the studio and it’s a great looking kit too." [1] Aeon Zen are a UK based progressive rock/metal band formed in 2008, led by the only permanent member, vocalist, guitarist, bassist and keyboard player Rich Hinks. Riverside
Progressive rock band Riverside will release "Reality Dream", their first ever DVD, on 11th January 2010 (in US on 23rd February) and not in early December as it was previously announced. The release date was postponed due to technical problems that occurred at the pressing company.

Cloudscape
Cloudscape is currently focusing on the composing for their fourth yet untitled album. No concerts are scheduled for 2010 yet but, the band + staff will start working for more gigs during 2010.
Don't hesitate to help Cloudscape spreading the word out to the masses and send wishlists to the various festivals around the globe that You'll visit and request Cloudscape. |

PROTOTYPE will begin recording their new, as yet untitled, album next week in Los Angeles with Neil Kernon. The follow-up to the critically acclaimed “Continuum” will be the band’s third album and also marks the return of drummer Pat Magrath. Magrath will be laying down his drum tracks for the album with Neil Kernon at the helm, after which PROTOTYPE will return to their own Utopia Studios to complete tracking. Kernon is also scheduled to mix the album early next year. Songs set to appear on the album include “Catalyst”, “The Chosen Ones”, “Cynic Dreams”, “The Ageless Heart Of Memory”, “Into Oblivion” and “My Own Deception”. The album is scheduled for release in 2010 via Nightmare Records.

Sun Caged will be performing in December 2009 as support of Swedish Prog Metal band Pain Of Salvation during two Dutch shows.
The dates are as following: Monday December 21st: Boerderij, Zoetermeer (NL) Tuesday December 22nd: Bosuil, Weert (NL) These shows will be the first shows for new bassplayer Daniel Kohn who joined the band in November 2009. |

The band has entered the studio for the third CD in March 2009.
We aim for a spring 2010 release. The working title for the album is called "The Lotus Effect". Some titles of new songs: "Shades Of Hades", "Driftwood", "All But Gone", "Tip-Toe the Fault Line", "On Again / Off Again", "Lotus", "Seamripper & The Blanket Statement" plus some more to come ! Expect an album with some new influences, one song has a typically salsa groove throughout the song, an other song has a real blast beat in it, plus we also recorded a really long epic song, divided into seven parts (total length about 24 minutes) which will close The Lotus Effect. |

Here is now the Announcement of the end from the Band “Deadsoul tribe” First we want to thank all of the loyal DST fans and friends who supported us over all those years. In the past 10 years of travelling and performing in several different Countries and Areas we met so many great and nice people we will never forget, well actually there will be much more we gonna miss,…great memories that is what we'll take with us ! Maybe some of you asking yourself what Happens, well we 4 are still friends, but with Deadsoul tribe we finally didn’t got to the point were we thought we would be at that time even if we had such a wonderful time. And as life and people are changing, also WE changed! And to start something else/new we thought the best and maybe last time for it would be right now, as we also won’t get younger, right *lol*.Another thing is that we made a live Dvd(some of u knew about) but there are no info whether or when we release that, but Adel is still taking care here and than on the Myspace site and if any news about the Dvd comming up you will find them there .Well let's see what the future brings, but for now we finally have to say “Good Bye” to all of you and THX so much 4 the wonderful Journey we had the last decade, best wishes much *LOVE* and take care,…Greetz from “The Tribe” - Devon, Adel, Roland, Rollz,…” A Lullaby for Deadsoul Tribe ” |
