 Topic: What are your feelings about DT?

Since their debut they are PROG MASTERS, but they can't reach bands like Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, King Crimson or Gentle Giant. But in prog metal they can't be beaten as a band! But there is one band which was better than DT and all other prog metal bands: PSYCHOTIC WALTZ !!! (R.I.P.)

i think they are good, but not the best, i mean they have a lot of influence by great bands like Rush, Yes and Kansas....

Very Good band, but IT shows that virtuosity doesn't mean great music. They are not as good composing as Black Sabbath (comparing to another heavy metal band)

Dream Theater are good. Not
quite very good enough, i have my reasons, but all the props in the
world to a band that succesful in what they want to do, very talented,
i just feel their is so much more out there that pushes my buttons more
than this band ever could.

When Day and Dream Unite is superb! Just give it 5 spins and listen to
the drums! You'll overcome the hilarious vocalist and the poor
production in no time!

Still I find them superb, really one of the greatest prog bands in the
history . I love everything they`ve done (ok maybe the debut with Dominci on voc is a bit sh*tty but the rest is really great).

yes, they´re great, one of the best bands of progmetal and one of the best bands since 1990.... is a great band... but not like others monsters like yes floyd giant ...
but anyway they´re masters of prog
