I have no idea what you guys are talking about. My friend set up my piece of crap with all kinds of other little icons and the only one I use is internet explorer.
I have no clue what the other sh*t is for except Word which I don't even know how to use. Beleive it or not I still send hand written personal & business letters and most people are either flattered or say things like " that's cool ".

basically correct, Dean - but something I don't really get (under Windows XP)
Windows Explorer options: open every new Explorer instance in an own task (probably not literally translated) this works fine - one exception though: I launched IE and browsed a valid directory path - a new Explorer instance was opened - but not a new task resp. PID when I close IE, the Explorer instance remains opened - however only the main Explorer Shell task is shown |

essentially the idea that its only for Internet is also somewhat inaccurate. you have a file browser as well, for you M$ users, its windows explorer. wikis disambiguation differentiates between the 2, which is a bit missleading, as for example IE does both. and on the firefox/chrome debate, firefox wins for me, yes chrome is a bit faster, but having to view all that ads and flash animation annoy me. if noscript and a few other addons become compatible with chrome I may change my mind Edited by PsYcHoTiC_MaDmAn - November 23 2009 at 19:12 |

It depends on how much you depend on add-ons, I guess. I can't imagine the internet without adblock plus. Chrome has insanely fast javascript and is faster overall, but Firefox uses less memory and is faster than IE.

It's a "web browser" ... it's a software application that you can browse the web with. On a Windows PC you also have the "Explorer", which you can use to browse your computer drives with. |

Eurofighter has an all glass multi-functional display. Just checked it out. I'd be lost. CF-101B and F-111C instrumentations were primitive compared to this. No need for TOG ( the other guy ) operating the radar ,weapons and " browser ". This Hornet cockpit is certainly from a first generation F/A-18A.
So Internet Explorer is a browser. Roger that.

^ it's an F-18 ... I'm a bit cross with myself for not putting an image on the HUD - a Smith's HUD was one of the first things I ever learned to program back in 19-Oh-blimey (single bit processor with 1K byte of magnetic-core memory) |

The addition of the progarchives.com option make it one of the most advanced combat aircraft today. ( actually it looks like the cockpit of the Eurofighter Typhoon )

^ jet it is ... sorry about that. A simple spelling mistake, but it's interesting how it would even make sense with "yet". How about "A person from the mid 16th century, yet piloting airplanes ..."

Did you mean to type 'jet airplanes'? Or did you literally mean to say, "A person from the mid 16th century piloting airplanes, yet . . ."? |
