i like almost everything on ''waterloo lily'' except all the silly short Hastings songs like ''Aristocracy'' .

If I Could... is my favourite and ItLoGaP comes next.  I like a lot of the Hastings penned numbers and his voice isn't that annoying.  I prefer Sinclair's voice, obviously, but Hastings has a similar tone to Wyatt at times. Wink

Febus, don't you enjoy FOR GIRLS WHO GROW PLUMP IN THE NIGHT, or even LIVE AT FAIRFIELD HALLS?[/QUOTE]

Nope, i bought ''FOR GIRLS..........''   don't like it, the best part is when they make a cover of Ratledge's soft tune
Yes, pye HASTINGs, not PIP PYLE (rip)....i guess i had a momentary lapse of reason!!

No i don't like the weak , very thin vocals of P. Hastings (Sinclair was the man!)

All of the above are very good

I do miss the inclusion of Cos and Picchio dal Pozzo.  Picchio dal Pozzo has been my favourite of the last few months.

You mean Pye Hastings.  Pip Pyle was the drummer for Hatfield/National Health/early Gong.  I find that For Girls Who Grow Plump In The Night to be a superb album with a new line-up.  It has more of a "rock" feel other then their early jazzier stuff, but it's still Caravan 100%.  I also find Cunning Stunts to be a great follow up to that album.  It's basically part 2 to For Girls...

Oh btw, I voted for CaravanSleepy
