I'll be the first to vote Canuck beer.  Molson Golden was the first beer that opened my eyes to the possibilites beyond normal American rot gut like Buttwiper.  Ah, college.  I miss thee.

If I spent more than just a week in England, I, probably, would say "an ale".

If I spent more than just a week in Europe (I mean bitter/lager countries, like Czech Rep. or Germany), I, probably, would say "a bitter".

But since I can access a stout without going abroad (I hope it's a real stout, though), I say "a stout".

Usually I prefer a bottle of good old English Ale. Not strictly pale ale but mostly the lighter ales of 5% or more

Lager, probably. My two favourite beers are Heineken and the Danish brand Tuborg, but when it comes to beer, I'm basically like Homer Simpson - I drink what I can get.

Beer is for peasants and monks, end of discussion.

My uncle used to be CEO or something for Heineken in Miami.

Found a great brewery on the west coast that opened a string of restaurants as well.  They have a variety going from a blond lager to a dark stout.

I like them all except the fruity chocolate ones they make

So it is the Red (is that a class?) and the Stout I like best.

When I can't get that I like lagers like  Sam Adams, Becks, Harp.

But I have cut out most of the liquid bread because I am gaining way to much weight.

Excellent list.  Had Westmalle Triple for the first time recently, that stuff rules
