could someone recomend a good prog dvd?
I've seen scenes from a memory, rush in rio and another rush one.

TBH i prefer cds but can anyone suggest something for me to spend money on?

Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii

My favourite performance dvd, the band is in top shape and the surroundings compliment the music nicely , very good stuff.

Glass Hammer's "Lex Live" - an excellent live performance DVD - I bought my copy from their site  www.glasshammer.com - very prompt in delivery! If you like excellent symph prog music I highly recommend you spend your money on this - worth every cent in my opinion

Try the Yes Symphonic DVD, it's absoloutly amazing.

Deja VROOOM and Eyes wide open By king Crimson are also great.
It is said to be the first Test-pressing of the corean release??

I will second Eyes Wide Open, very good performance.........

Also if you are fan of great guitar playing, I would recommend a recent aquisition of mine, Jonas Hellborg w/ Shawn Lane - Paris......very good stuff....

If you like DT, which I assume you must if you have Live Scenes From New York, then check out DT Live At Budokan. A lot of Train Of Thought is represented, but if you don't like that album, they do a lot of their older stuff too.

Just obtained through Amazon.UK's Marketplace, Primus's Hallucino- Genesis DVD- two 2004 live sets of excellent jam band music on one DVD, including the whole of  the music from Frazzle Fry. And price: <7 quid!!!! Remarkable.

 Yes, that DVD is amazing. Watching AND hearing them play really gives you an idea why they deserve to be discussed on Prog websites ... they remind me of King Crimson. On a lower level, undoubtedly, but still very unique and complex, and VERY tight.
