For Avant-Garde. 
Half Japanese first formed in 1975 by brothers Jad and David Fair, as mainly a punk band, but they gradually got more and more Avant, with the adding of a varieghty of different members and Brass instruments. They have worked with people such as Fred Frith and John Zorn. Main frontman Jad Fair has said about his strange and dissonant guitar playing that "the only chord I know is the one that connects the guitar to the amp". 

and a little piece of trivia, Kurt Cobain was a big fan of Half Japanese, and he supposedly was wearing a Half Japanese t-shirt when he shot himself.

	These guys remind me of The Clash mixed with King Missile. Not really a fit for PA.
