How to fix Black and White in AVI using USB

   Hi. I recently bought a Blu Ray Philips BDP3200, it can reproduce avi format - according to the mannual. So i put more than one movie in avi format and the video got black and white, and not only the video, all the Blu Ray display. I thought it was because my TV is old, its not digital, but i tested another video in MKV format with USB and it did well, showing all collors. So, do you think this is a problem with my TV, Palm - NTSC trouble, or with the video format AVI? I know MKV supports H264, is it possible the AVi files doesnt got this codec?
