Taking the 'gravity' theme from my last suggestion on a little bit further, a band called 'Initial Gravity' came up in several forum threads back in 2010:
First there was b3rnar2 (in 'Prog Bands, Artists and Genres Appreciation', 17 March 2010): http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=65863 Then there was Rivertree (in 'Unsigned Bands', 10 April 2010): http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=66465 And also b3rnar2 again (in 'Prog Bands, Artists and Genres Appreciation', 17 March 2010): http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=65863 None of these threads had a single reply, which is a shame, because this band actually seems pretty decent to me. They are a prog metal outfit, formed in the town of San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina in 2005. The project initially began as an instrumental one. The founders were Facundo Macció (electric guitar), Bernardo yacon (drums) and Mariano Azubel Masino (bass). Alvaro Barcellona joined as vocalist in 2008, followed by Juan Pablo Navarro (keyboards). Alvaro quit in 2010, to eventually be replaced by Leandro López. They have just one album out (released this year) called "Lost" http://www.myspace.com/initialgravityband (where all eight songs from their album can be streamed) http://www.facebook.com/pages/Initial-Gravity/40634948250 (where there is a link in a recent post allowing you to legally download the album as a zip file from mediafire.com). Some of the songs from it are on YouTube (tracks 1, 4, 5, 6, & 8): See what you think...

Yes indeed! - They started off by doing Dream Theater covers, and there's a few clips of them doing just that up on YouTube.
