This album seems to be a solo effort by Ian McDonald rather than a joint action of the McDonald & Giles duo though Michael Giles actually appears in the line-up. See e.g.:

http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/5853540/a/Drivers+Eyes.htm,

http://www.progreviews.com/reviews/display.php?rev=im-de,

http://www.camino.co.uk/ian/ (the label's website, Giles is credited as one of special guests).

So, in other words, it should be moved to a separate entry for Ian McDonald. If we only had one...

Actually i do have this CD and it is definitely a McDonald solo album

Yesterday I moved a Jon and Vangelis single that someone had put in Jon's discography.

So, the solution is: either Mr. McDonald solo gets a proper evaluation and added (if approved) and the album moved or the album entry deleted.

Either that or we let it slide.

Personally...I'm all for accuracy.

^ Unfortunately, there is a review. And as we know, when there is a review, it means problems.
There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

^ You mean I can add any album to any discography and when I review it then it's untouchable? Tongue

Difficult one. That is the Admin view on duplicates, as you know. For additions that are wrong...for example adding a album by Abba to Queen I suppose it would HAVE to be deleted never mind how many reviews there were.

^^ Sort of. I don't like it either and we know that it's possible problem.

Ian, if you know the album would you make a suggestion to include Mr. McDonald on his own to one of the sub-genres and then (if approved) move the entry to his discography?

I have it, but i wouldn't say i know it. haven't played it in ages. I'm willing to dig it out though and give it a relisten.
