This one might cause some controversy but I think they belong here. They are poppy and alternative but use a lot of prog overtones in the music. Their wide range of keyboards and harmonic arrangements are very nice. Considering they were a hit opening this years CalProg should say something also. This link is to Newspaper coverage of a CD release party of a Cars tribute album that Spiraling took part in. This is a great commentary. Thanks for posting all of these links. Also, a great place to check them out is on their myspace site. There is a live footage video of one of their songs and audio of 4 of them. http://www.myspace.com/spiraling I just saw them live recently and I'm still high from the show! I would have loved to have been at CalProg. ~Robin Edited by robinh |

Robin,
Calprog was great. These guys really shocked a lot of people. including me. I really did not know what to expect but they were fantastic. THe guy in front of me says I come to my first Prog Festival and get blown away by the first band. For sure Spiraling was a highlight at Calprog.
