Smell the Glove by Spinal Tap is the best black cover ever. No white on
there, though.

Kind of a bizarre thing to say really, considering my thoughts.  Still I imagine it consistently appears on top 10 charts for the best music, ever.  along with a lot of other dross!

but hey, you can't knock the impact they had on music.  after all, if it wasn't was a contrived group of men playing music, we would never have had the backstreet boys or the bazillion other boy bands out there!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

- After Crying “Megalázottak és Megszomorítottak” (Well almost Black and white);

- Banda do Casaco “Dos Benefícios de um Vendido no Reino dos Bonifácios”

- Gentle Giant “In a Glass House”;

- Jethro Tull “Thick as a Brick”;

- Jethro Tull “A Passion Play”;

- King Crimson “Red” (ehehe funny when I think that an album called “Red” could be one of the most important black and white albums);

- Univers Zero “Heresie”;

- Yes “Time and a word” (if one considers the UK cover).

No, not really - you may hate it, but you cannot deny the genius behind it, the craftsmanship in the songwriting and the sheer joy in the music - unless you're profoundly deaf or stupid.

Still I imagine it consistently appears on top 10 charts for the best music, ever.

And rightly so.

along with a lot of other dross!

You really don't recognise the significance and greatness of Revolver???

One day you will learn, young grasshopper...

but hey, you can't knock the impact they had on music.  after all, if it wasn't was a contrived group of men playing music, we would never have had the backstreet boys or the bazillion other boy bands out there!

Contrived group of men... aha!! You mean like ANY rock band then...

The major difference between the Backstreet Boys, other bands of that ilk and the Beatles is that the Beatles could play their instruments and write songs.

Sorry, the TWO major differences between the Backstreet Boys, other bands of that ilk and the Beatles is that the Beatles could play their instruments, write songs, were far advanced of any other band at the time creatively...

The THREE...

Don't forget that the Beatles ARE the most influential group EVER for several very good reasons. One day you will realise what they are.
