Went to see the Jon Anderson and School of Rock show at the B.B King NY last night.
It was an emotional and amazing show.
The  place was packed and the atmosphere was good. Jon brought a family of singers he met outside of his hotel singing in the street to perform before the show.
I expected to enjoy seeing Jon and for the kids from the school of rock to be a nice touch.
Let me tell you, nice is not the word to describe the kids. They are awesome! They kick a$%ss.
The set was amazing and it sounded just as if Jon was playing with the real group. People were amazed. 13-16 year old kids sounding exactly like 70's veterans.
Jon was very emotional and you could see it was a very special experience for him. As he said, the music was written before these kids were born and it touched his heart to play it with them. To listen to 14 year old kids playing the Howe and Wakeman parts so well...I swear to god, with my eyes closed I would not have been able to tell the difference. There were about thirty children rotating between them. It was much, much better than I expected and seeing Jon is always a thrill. There is one more show tonight, if you are in the area do whatever you can to go there. My daughter is 2 years old and in only five years I can send her to the School of Rock!

excellent, hope it was recordedTongue
There stands Olias to outward to build a ship
Holding within all we hope to retain
The frame will be so built to challenge the universe
Clasped with the skins of the fish of the plain
