frenchie, I would like to officially congratulate you. Now that you have accepted Beefheart your life is complete. Since you like that one, I recommend you purchase the albums Shiny Beast(Bat Chain Puller) and Doc At The Radar Station. You will love it! Btw, whats your favorite song Trout Mask, just out of curiousity

track 2 was a bit random! i love the hair pie bakes but i still aint got all the way thru the album, i am upto hair pie bake 2 and loved all the tracks before it. i am jus about to listen to the rest.
clear spot sounds reli intruiging cos i downloaded clear spot and her eyes are a blue million miles and loved those tracks.
giacas is lending me hot rats tomoro by zappa, i heard a track with beefheart on vocals which was immense. i love his voice.
i found a track called the muffin man. it was live and has such an immense solo and was funny too!

Muffin Man is actually a Zappa track. Trout Mask is weird so it'll take time to get used to. Clear Spot/Spotlight Kid are two really good albums but they're straightforward blues albums. Just keep listening to Trout Mask and you'll eventually understand Mr. Beefheart's Genius, but if you like his voice that's a good thing!
