You are moving to antarctica for 1 year and can only bring 10 albums (disks) with you. Which 10 would you bring? Yes, this is a blatent attempt by a newbie to be exposed to other peoples personnal favorites. Remember these 10 will be the ONLY music you will hear for a year! Go for it and help expose me to some really great music.

1. The Snow Goose - Camel

2. The Tain - Horslips

3. Selling England - Genesis

4. Heartland - Runrig

5. Argus - Wishbone Ash

6. Sleepwalking _ Gerry Rafferty (an album of pure prog, in fact)

9. Moontan - Golden Earring

10. Road Rage - Great Big Sea

I'd like to take Red Queen by Gryphon and BJH and Renaissance Live too, but I'll stick at 10.

Bet most of you've never heard of a lot of those (nos 2,4,6,7, and 10 particularly)

  1. Nursery Cryme - Foxtrot (Genesis): I bought the Japanese edition which has two favorite Genesis albums together.
  2. Hybris (Anglagard): Never get tired of this one.

  5. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway (Genesis): A different Genesis
  6. Revolutions (Magenta): A lot of symphonic Prog.
  7. Darwin! (Banco del Mutuo Soccorso): The best Italian album ever.
  8. The Return of the Manticore (ELP): Nobody said I couldn't choose a box set, there's everything I need by ELP
  9. 25 Years Anniversary Box Set (Jethro Tull): Again a lot of material by a great band.
  10. Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table (Rick Wakeman): My favorite Wakeman album.
