I'll go along with that. His words make me laugh (lots of those derived from Thick As a Brick, A Passion Play, and Warchild).

Sinfield is more flawlessly poetic, but Peart more often reaches me emotionally. |
I don't share your taste in lyrics, but I just wanted to give a shout out to Jet Jaguar! You have the coolest avatar at the ProgArchives Forum (don't change it up, unless you change it to Megalon!)

Ehhhhh, it's basically a scene from your average Power Rangers episode.

Blasphemy! No, this predates Power Rangers (*blech*) by a couple of decades. Surely there are other nerdy dorks (like me) who know who Jet Jaguar is?
By the way, Peter Hammill is the best prog (really, rock in general) lyricist.

I know Jet Jaguar from MST3K. It was a great show. Anyway, Fish writes some fantastic lyrics, as do the other people mentioned above. I enjoy Roine Stolt's lyrics as well.

Yeah, MST3K was great, and their roasting of Godzilla vs. Megalon (which starred Jet Jaguar) was one of my favorite MST3K episodes ever. I also remember NBC airing G vs. M in the mid-late 70's with, I kid you not, John Belushi hosting dressed in a Godzilla costume!

Right-tee-oh about the Hammill-meister.
