Last season the Yanks fate seemed to be decided by the first inning. Almost EVERY time the opponent scored first, they lost. And when they scored first almost always won. The same is continuing it appears. They go up 1-0. Fall 3-1 but come back to when. However, every time they go down 1-0 no matter how the game progresses they never catch up. What is wrong with this team? I cant believe im so mad after a win

^ Well.....the Yanks winning recently has been the exception not the rule. Although, it is ironic that they are down 2-0, I go out for a bit, and now they are up 8-2. Guess I should stop watching games

That doesn't work...I've tried it on multiple occasions. Whenever the Cubs are on and I can watch it, I'm there

Yanks win 3-2 @ Toronto.
CC pitched another good game, Matsui put them ahead, and Mariano with the save. Rivera may not be as golden as he was last year, but still has it

Would someone please send Brandon Morrow back down to Tacoma!
|

I was riding a two game win streak there. Back down to earth once again.

Verlander struck out 13 and left after 6 1/3 innings with a 5 - 0 lead and 2 guys on. Damn bullpen gave up 6 runs and the Tigers lost to the Twins 6-5. The Tigers swept the Indians in Cleveland over the weekend and made me think that they had the ship headed in the right direction. What a titanic mistake that was. The Tigers are going to be so glad to play the Twins in their new stadium. The Metrodome just eats us up every time.

Capps allowed a 3 run bomb in the ninth. The Buccos pitching woes continue.

Would somebody please call up David Price! Tampa fans should be pissed that they are forced to watch the rotation they are currently using just so the team can save a few bucks. Now, I'm a Yankees fan but I have Price in a keeper league and the fact that he was deemed ready enough to pitch in the playoffs and World Series but not ready enough for the next regular season is idiotic. Had to vent. Matt Weiters and Tommy Hanson owners are welcome to join me.

Especially since the Rays traded Edwin Jackson to the Tigers to make room for David Price. Edwin Jackson has been suprisingly great so far. I really wasn't expecting to much from him but 3 and 2 with a 2.30 ERA has been quite the addition to the Tigers' rotation.

There are actually legitimate reasons that Price is in AAA. The salary issue is part of it, but he spent all offseason working on a changeup and showed up to spring training with a crappy changeup and a suddenly crappy slider. Until he gets that slider going again, he isn't going to be the guy we saw last October.

I thought that it was the fact that Dave Duncan worked with him.

They scored 10 runs in one inning. Now only if they could average 10 runs a game they just might finish above .500 for once.

4 in a row. It would be nice to see them sweep the Nats. The Cards are taking a beating as of late. With the Cubs and Royals coming in it is not getting any better for them.

I'm heading downtown tonight for the battle of two first place teams: the Tigers vs the Rangers. Who would've thunk that either team would be in 1st place at this point of the season.

My Dodgers are still doing well even without the steroid man. I'm starting to believe they may have something special going. The only thing that worries me is middle relief.

The only couple of times I've watched the Jays this year they lost. Maybe if I don't watch them for the rest of the year they'll actually take the division.
