New supergroup: Belew, Fripp & Frith, with new album "Guitar Salad Surgery" LOL

Shocked

I would buy that in a heartbeat. Clap

It's almost as good as this supergroup:
Christian Vander- drums
Neil Peart- drums
Yoshida Tatsuya- drums
Bill Bruford- drums
Jannick Top- bass
Bernard Paganotti- bass
Geddy Lee- bass
Chris Squire- bass

LOL

LOLLOL

I think THIS supergroup is the best though:

Phil Collins; Drums, vocals, keyboards, drum machine

Wink

Isn't that just a Collins solo album? LOL

Yeah, almost.. LOL

He does use guest musicians on his albums, though not many. I actually like some of his songs very muchEmbarrassed

I respect Phil Collins and he was a hell of a drummer... but... I'm just not too keen on his solo work or on most of later Genesis. That's simply preference, I suppose. Wink

His solo career is sh*t.

Kandahar are more obscure than Ain Soph. Wink

I have all of Ain Soph's albums though and they're very good!  I even have the debut on CD.  I think I should get the others, before Greg Walker sells them to nobody. LOL

Belgian Canterbury-esque jazz fusion that isn't very fusiony... well it is but it's fusiony in a completely different way to Area and Nucleus.

Aren't we feeling a bit happy today? LOL

I don't like it at all, but that doesn't mean Blowie can't enjoy it. And... even if it is definitely not prog, I'd say some of it is at least better than most crap. Then again, it does all come down to preference in the end even on that.

I'm the almighty quote cutter! Tongue

I'm not as familiar with his work in Brand X, but the one sample I did hear was pretty good! Another thing to the list!

It makes me wonder if I ever will end up getting all of this music by the time I die. LOL

Notably their Yume No Oka album is essential, IMO. Brilliant stuff, not unlike Ain Soph's debutSmile
