Which one? ...And Then There Were Three? I can't even make it through this album without getting bored. I think it starts off rather strong: Down and Out, Undertow, Snowbound, and Deep in the Motherlode are very strong songs, but I don't get much out of the rest of the album. It's just an album I can't play all the way through. I yearn for Hackett's guitar work and the balance he brought to the band.

Oh, not especially fond of From Genesis To Revelation. Trespass is where things start picking up for me and to be even more honest Nursery Cryme is what made a fan of the band.

. It's a sweet album, bro. Also, it's interesting to see the evolution if you have this album in mind

I'll have to give it another listen one day.
Now playing:
Definitely my favorite album from their 70s period. Speaking of evolution, it's interesting to chart Rush's evolution from this album to Permanent Waves.

BTW, ProgMetaller2112, what do you think of Rush's evolution from Hemispheres to Permanent Waves? Quite a drastic change for them IMHO.

^^ I'm with you on that. It is a drastic change. They controlled themselves a bit and it was a refreshing listen

It seems they changed their style a lot by incorporating other styles like Reggae, New Wave, etc. into their sound-world. I remember watching an interview with Peart where he said they just couldn't go back to those longer epics because they were completely burnt out from these types of songs. The last epic to appear on their albums was The Camera Eye from Moving Pictures.

I've seen it. A great documentary for sure. I own it on blu-ray. My only complaint about the documentary is it seems their 'synth period' didn't get much coverage which was extremely disappointing to me.
