I also heard someone say there was no keymapping but I think there is and they just hadn't worked out how to do it. LOL

I'd probably be annoyed with the UI as well but then I've not even see it.

Got Brutal Legend for cheap. A lot of fun but the RTS elements don't work. Would have been better as a straight GTA/action game.

Still, can't beat driving around in a fire spewing car with Manowar blasting out the stereo.

Further observations about Skyrim buginness: The game runs incredibly well for about 2 hours per session/boot of my PS3, and after that it starts to get more FPS drops, more clipping, more visual bugs, more everything bad basically.

Also, I will have 70, please.

^It's a particularly odd issue which I don't think I've ever had in another game. Really not sure how that even comes about.

Still incredibly happy with it but it's another thing on the list of stuff Bethesda should have fixed, I guess.

And the 360 game won't have to try to develop something there for the upper levels of top tier PCs, which is not so when you have a PC game and then scale it down for consoles.

Ah, gotcha, that makes sense.

Yup. Seems like the kind of thing that should have come up in bug testing, but that's Bethesda for you I guess. Just waiting for another 30 patches to fix things the PC community patches fix quicker and more efficitently. Such is life on console.

Yup. As odd as this probably sound, it is essentially devs catering to the lowest common (technical) denominator.

(edited for spelling derps)

Just joined the Thieves Guild!
This is essential, I had a huge fortune in Oblivion thanks to my thievery and it was pretty much my hobby. I was a beast.

This is why video games are great, an escape from reality and being what you are not.
In the case of Skyrim, an uber badass Cool

A thief runs up to me and says to give up my money or she'll gut me, response: "I'd leave, right now" then proceed to kill her with my longsword.

Also when I told the Thieves Guild guy making it there was easy he just says "Reliable and headstrong, you are turning out to be quite a find" Big smile

Starting to notice some sh*ttiness in the AI...

Shot a guy from stealth with my bow, he ran around, looked, didn't find me, then said 'must've been the wind'... Immersion shattered temporarily.

Eh gotta accept these these things with the Elder Scrolls.
Besides I'm a major sneaker/thief anyway. Though I will work on my fighting more in Skyrim.

Just took this woman's prized statue and when she begs please give it back I respond "so should I drop this statue down a well?"
I would hate me in real life LOL no wonder my infamy was through the roof and everyone hated me!

^True, just kinda annoying since I was loving the new stealthiness.

Also, fixed up the frame-rate drops/stuttering in outdoor environments I was having with my PS3 by deleting a ton of data off the HDD, which was full except for about 120mb They're not gone completely but they're much less frequent. And since Skyrim installs to the PS3 HDD there might've been a slow down in texture loading or some such.

...Okay, that's the end of the f**king line.

I rode Shadowmere (dark brotherhood quest horse) up to Galmar Stone-Fist for the first proper Storm Cloaks mission. He began attacking my horse so I rode it away and walked back over. He kept attacking me, so I attacked him till he got to his knees but when he gets up he's still hostile.

So that means I can't do the Storm Cloaks quest line basically at all right now since I can't talk to him.

Now guess what's happened?

Basically every guild-based NPC is hostile to me. Dark Brotherhood, Companions, Storm Cloaks, Thieves Guild, all attack me on site and won't stop.

So basically I have an unplayable game here.

I <3 Shadowmere. That horse is so evil

Man that sucks, and is pretty ridiculous.

Remember that crazy SR2 glitch you had, when you would freeze and could only become unstuck by me hurting you.

Shadowmere is a f**king boss. He killed spiders for me. Also, I have had probably about 1% of the problems that Joel has had. Reason: since he is in Australia he is obviously putting the game in right side up when it should be upside down. Rookie mistake.

Indeed, Shadowmere attacked a dragon for me.

As I mentioned on Facebook chat to the shred group, I tried new saves, uninstalling local content on PS3, repatching, etc. So I ended up formatting my PS3 and reinstalling Skyrim and patching it. Nearly through the intro now.

And it's all over now. Only took a f**king format to fix. Jesus damn Bethesda.

*stifled laugh*

Ah, Elder Scrolls at its best.  A bug filled mess.

Someone I know got pissed off when he got killed by the guards for killing a chicken. LOL

It's true, one extreme glitch and it's a bugged out mess.

I'm just glad I found the thieves guild but this first fence is lamesauce. He has barely any coin on him.
In Oblivion at least Ongar had like 600? You could sell a good bit for that at least
