Finally playing Portal 2
As awesome as the first one was, 2 is much funnier and the atmosphere and level design are amazing. Plus it is reasonably long. ![]() |

From what I've heard (and seen), Portal 2 is kind of lame though in that the only surfaces you can place portals on is the correct way to proceed.

I've been playing DJ Hero, Final Fantasy 10, Rock Band series, and Fallout: New Vegas.

I played it today for the first time in over a month, and I only played four songs. I have eight of the full band rock band games. All I'm really missing is Rock Band 3 (which excites me), and Guitar Hero: Van Halen/Rock Band: Green Day (neither of which I give a goddamn about).
Oh, and Warriors of Rock, which seems dumb. I really don't care about playing 2112 at all.

Oh, I know! Yoshimi, Imagine, Break on Through, Rainbow in the Dark, Don't Stand so Close to Me, Bohemian Rhapsody, and even Roundabout interest the hell outta me.

It has a fairly good setlist, i'm still unsure which RB had the best though.

So far my favorite is 2, but that's because of all the DLC I have for it - Piece of my Heart, Foxey Lady, Aqualung, Purple Haze, Black Sabbath pack, Man in a Box, Would?, Rooster, Heaven Beside You, Painkiller, Who'll Stop the Rain, Bad moon Rising, Some Satriani, Holy Diver, etc. Love RB: Beatles. GH: Metallica had some good, surprising ones (like No Excuses, Turn the Page, Evil, most of the Metallica songs I actually like). I wish they'd do a RB Rolling Stones, RB Savatage, and come out with at least a few Pink Floyd songs (Young Lust, Have a Cigar, Brick II, and Run Like Hell would all do well for me.)

You probably know how I feel about that band. But, if you think about it, isn't there already an RB Rush???
RB1 - Tom Sawyer/DLC - All of moving Pictures GH Smash - YYZ/ DLC - All of Moving Pictures GH5 - Spirit of Radio GH WOR - all of 2112. One of 'em I can't remember - Working Man (oh, DLC) DLC - Closer to the Heart, Subdivisions RB2 - The Trees That's nearly three albums of material devoted to Rush.

Anyone grabbed the Indie Humble Bundle yet?
VVVVVV is a lot of fun, and if you haven't played Braid yet, that one is also definitely worth some time. Less than 24 hours left in this one!

Braid is the time-oriented puzzler, right? I played it halfway through and loved what I played, but didn't ever get around to finishing.

Yeah, that's the one. Totally worth finishing, every puzzle is unique, and the last level is simply mindblowing.

Oh, I'm not talking about the epilogue, that one is just a headache for anyone hoping for any sort of closure to the story.

I've read it was a veiled allusion to the Trinity testing/atom bomb creating teams and their inherent guilt.

Yeah, in the epilogue it sounds like that. But the nothing before that hints at that stuff at all.

I am dumd so I didn't get it until I was reading about the epilogue afterwards. >_> I could get the Bundle, I'm off classes for a little bit, but I really don't need to be spending more time playing videogames. |
