Isn't that that one PC game that was an FPS based off of the Doom engine and let you choose from several different classes or something like that?

Yeah, I absolutely love all the Doom engine games.
Hexen is the one with 3 character classes, yep.

I've been playing then over and over again throughout the years.
Few games offer as much replay value as the Doom engine games IMO.

These are the sites that make me hate going to community link sites much less.

I don't know if we have any photosensitive seizure types here, but that probably shouldn't click that link.

Obviously the original executables wont run on modern operating systems, so here is the solution.

I download a source port, located here http://www.doomsdayhq.com/

It will allow you to run Doom, Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, Final Doom (Plutonia and TNT) Hexen and expansion pack, and Heretic and Expansion pack under one program really.
If offers all goodies like OpenGL graphics, high resolution, lighting effects, EAX sound support and a lot of other stuff to make the real more up to date, without sacrificing the way the game originally plays fortunately.
All you need, are the WAD. files to run it really, which you can easily download anywhere if you don't have original copies of the games.
