Aquarium bubbling is one of the most peaceful and relaxing sounds I know. It's really great. I'd choose it over Prog-metal (or any other of the choices) any day. Tongue

And seriously, Elvis must be the most over-rated musician in history. If you really listen to his songs, they're actually rubbish. Don't get caught in the hype!

That's a totally rubbish, anti-historical and stupid commentary. Like him or not, Elvis put rock'n'roll in the map because he could hit the massive white audience that the racism never would permit a black artist (and better, like Berry) touch in the 50's. It really doesn't matter if you appreciate his singing and songs or not, but his historic role can't be denied or classified as rubbish.
Bach, Ma, Bros, Déia, Dante.

Elvis - please! Utter lack of talent with no charisma. Why people like him is beyond belief. And those who call him "King" - they really creep me out - there's little weirder than that.

Yeah, gonna have to go with Aquarium bubbling.  Not that I hate 90's Prog Metal but, the sound of an aquarium bubbling seems rediculously appealing and soothing at the moment.

If you had not put Johnny Cash Deadwith Elvis and Jarry Lee, this would've been a no-brainer>>> Elvis and Co.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Clap Can't argue with that.

I have to say that the title of this was misleading - if it was between Elvis and Prog, then Prog would win.

However, vs Prog Metal, Elvis wins every time. I can find nothing particularly appealing or interesting about Prog Metal and would not listen to it out of choice - having listened to a lot of it these past 3 years or so.
The important thing is not to stop questioning.
