^ Which of my album ratings do you disagree with this time, and don't say all of them.

I love Paul Rodgers, but your thread is called Prog Britannia, not Hard Rock/Blues Rock Britannia. What am I missing here?

^^ Careful now, Cristi
If it has been called 'Aga-dooby-doo Shawawa' it would have been considered for Prog-Related...

Agadoo, agadoo, I hate that song too..... I know Paul Rodgers is about as proggy as Radiohead. Roxy Music & Talk Talk, although I wouldn't object to any of them being included on Prog Archives, and as for Black Lace, I Can't Go for That, No Can Do, which I'm sure will come as a relief to many here. |

Radiohead is prog, sorry. Talk Talk is prog, sorry, last two albums even groundbreaking. Roxy Music is prog related, Paul Rodgers is not.

^ I have albums by all three of those bands but none of them sound remotely proggy to me, although that's another debate for another day..

it's not a debate. Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock were so unique, ahead of their time albums, if that's not prog, i don't know what is. Radiohead's albums, except for the debut, are progressive, experimental, art rock. |

If Synth-Pop band Talk Talk are prog, then I'm going to propose that The Human League, OMD and Ultravox be added to PA too, even if that makes me a Laughing Stock.

I pointed out the two Talk Talk albums that are prog/progressive, now you're being cheeky with that remark. And even the synth-pop Talk Talk, they were artsy like no other band of that genre of music.

^ In that case, I could argue that OMD's 4th album "Dazzle Ships" was proggy too, seeing as it was an experimental "musique concrete" album which was rejected by most Synth Pop fans at the time, including me.

I don't know that album, I only know a couple of OMD songs. Again, I've explained to you several times why Talk Talk are on PA, your answers only show you being cheeky and stubborn.

Talk Talk studio album sales:-
It's My Life: 450,000 The Colour of Spring: 200,000 The Party's Over: 60,000 Spirit of Eden: 60,000 Laughing Stock: unlisted It's no wonder Talk Talk decided to break up after the release of the dismal Laughing Stock album, when even their own record company rejected it, and for good reason too.

Dismal? That's just your opinion. Don't try to pass it as fact. The album still charted in a few countries (even UK according to your beloved wikipedia). But that's not the issue here. I wonder how many bands/musicians EMI screwed over. I know Marillion had difficulties with them, too. Talk Talk refused to do hits and EMI dropped them and they even went to court...

^ I thing Laughing Stock was a deliberately ironic title, given that it's such a depressing album to listen to. One thing's for sure, I won't be including Talk Talk here on my Prog Britannia blog, but you can see them later Today on my Synth Britannia blog.

Depressing? Again stop trying to pass opinion for fact. So you had pop, rock, blues rock in your Prog thread, and then you got prog, but you're going to have it under synth pop, and probably poorly rate it. There is no funny meme to point out how little this makes sense.
