song writingoriginality and perfomance not be considered then as objective?

I can tell about my own point of view that I distinguish between these criteria mentioned here themselves and a raters evaluation of them.
The criteria themselves are at least to a certain degree objective, as defined here, but a rater's evalution of them/rating wil always be

^ My objective in writing an album review is always to be totally subjective with a fair sprinkling of humour thrown in for good measure too. After all, who wants to read a purely objective review, if that were even possible? Ermm

Possibility for "a purely objective review"?, is that what you get from me writing "but a rater's evalution of them/rating wil always be
to a certain degree/mostly? subjective."?

I'll leave you to continue with your objective/subjective debate on your thread while I make some new Beginnings here with Steve Howe's albums tomorrow, although I can expect some Turbulence along the way. Smile

I've always believed it's much better to be criticised than to be ignored completely, is it not? Wink

I have no axe to grind with either of you. Nick and I have often disagreed in the past, but this time I agreed with him, so credit where credit is due. Smile

Look at the whole context, my friend, and better stop it here if you don't have something better to say.
