Progressive Biography

Max

I am 31 and studied at the Sherbrooke University in Computer Science. I presently live in a town named St-Georges in the province of Quebec (Canada). I love travel, music and cars.

I started to work on the progarchives.com project in summer 2002 as a webmaster, ProgLucky and I became associates 3 months later. At that time, we were not as popular as we are now, we were then averaging 200 visitors per day. Using my experience as a web analyst, we started to revamp the first version of the website and it became what it is today : a success. Using my Search Engine Optimization techniques, we now record 30 000 visitors a day and it constantly increasing. Try a query on GOOGLE : pink floyd animals reviews Today the site is more than a technical success, we think that it has become an important resource and community in the Prog movement. We know that the major part of the success comes from our great collaborators and all of you who help us in building this website every day. Thank You ! And now, let's talk about MUSIC baby ! I discovered prog music late in 2000 with the album Scenes from a Memory by Dream Theater. Before that I was hooked on 80s Metal Music (Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Metallica, Guns N Roses...) I also ( at the time ) developed a Web Radio playing this music : check an archived version of the website www.progarchives.com/hardrockin80s/ . Now I am more than hooked on Prog Music, I own more than 500 Prog CDs and 1000's of Digital Music albums.
