Progressive Biography

(TO BE COMPLETED)

Date of birth: 23/2/62

Nickname on forum: Syzygy

I was first introduced to progressive rock in ...about 1975, when I first heard 'I Know What I Like" by Genesis drifting out of a neighbour's window.

Number of CDs in your collection of original progressive albums ...depends on how strictly you define prog, but roughly half of an 800 disc collection (and growing).

My favourite progressive bands/artists (in alphabetical order) (5-10)...Genesis, Gong, Gryphon, Guapo, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Magma, Tangerine Dream, Univers Zero, Yes

My favourite progressive albums include (in alphabetical order) (5-10)...Magma - Kontarkhosz, Yes - Relayer, Gryphon - Red Queen to Gryphon 3, Gong - You, Tangerine Dream - Force Majeure, King Crimson - The Night Watch, Guapo - 5 Suns, Jethro Tull - Stand Up, Genesis - Selling England By The Pound (this week)

Other comments: ...in addition to my reviews, I have also supplied biographies for Guapo, Ruins and Daniel Denis.
