I've just recently been getting into Post Rock and Math Rock (Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Sigur Ros) and I find that the songs that are piano based are my favorites. Does anybody have any recommendations for me? Smile

Mogwai's Mr Beast had some great piano, and even though it's a tad poppy it's the best I've heard from them. 65daysofstatic uses a fair amount of piano on their last album, as well as their others, I think the last Explosions in the Sky had a significant amount of piano as well. But I may be wrong.

Rachel's -   luscious chamber rock led by gifted pianist Rachel Grimes, I'm surprised they aren't here (I submitted them to postrock years ago but to no avail)

The Bad +  -  irreverent and very cool stylized nujazz/jazzrock trio

Keith Emerson's piano concerto (No. 1) may have been constructed as a classical piece, but something about it sounds really good to my rock-loving ears.
