"Now and Then" is the title of the song, a third song composed by Lennon, given by Yoko to Harrison/McCartney/Starr to record in the same way as "Free as a Bird" and "Real Love".

I thought that the "new song" was an unreleased "alternate take" of  "How Do You Sleep?" (on which Lennon and Harrison played together; this song was released in the "Imagine" album) with Starr and McCartney adding their parts replacing Alan White and Klaus Voormann, etc. I can`t imagine McCartney overdubbing his bass and backing vocals for a song originally "dedicated" to him by Lennon! LOL
