After the previous two excellent DVD's, Adele Schmidt and José Zegarra Holder are now working on RWIII about Canterbury. It needs help with funding and they have setup a campaign on Indiegogo

The funding request is here :-

Here's the exciting trailer

It looks really good

Sweet! An excellent choice for vol. 3.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Thanks Ian! Man that brought tears to my eyes I must admit. So cool that bands from all over the world have been influenced by Canterbury and play that style even in 2014.

$5,540USD in 10 days... not too bad really - almost half of the goal amount when there are still 32 days left.

Anyway, we all supporters must keep the momentum going and continue to make our contributios to this lovely project.

We just added two new perks "Sea Song" and "Gloria Gloom":

Three postcards (1971-73) from Robert Wyatt, legendary English musician, and founding member of the influential Canterbury scene band Soft Machine with a long and distinguished solo career.

Contribute $35 (Perk "Sea Song") and you will receive the set of three Robert Wyatt's postcards starting on June 19th.

GO TO CAMPAIGN
http://igg.me/at/canterburyprog

Contribute $65 (Perk "Gloria Gloom") and you will receive the set of three Robert Wyat's postcards, starting on June 19th, PLUS the Limited Edition Digipack DVD of the upcoming Romantic Warriors III - Canterbury Tales, when it is released.

Dan Burke, a progressive music fan and supporter of our fundraising campaign gave us the permission to print three beautiful postcards that Robert Wyatt sent to him during 1971-73. Robert Wyatt agreed that we use the cards as a reward in our campaign. In an recent e-mail he wrote, "Yes, it's an honor for me that you still care that very touching way."

This is a limited edition of 50 sets, each one comprised of three high res, double sided, glossy cards.

Best of all, the postcards are ready to be mailed out to you starting on June 19th.

Thanks for your support!

$12,005USD already achieved, which means 60%... but there are still 9 days to meet the deadline and complete the total 100% of the amount needed... or even go beyond that!

Only 4 days left in our campaign to raise funds to complete the documentary "Romantic Warriors III - Canterbury Tales".
At a time when all movies and TV shows just seem to be re-hashing ideas already done, or directly doing an 'updated' version of a classic, we want to produce a film that makes sense to us. What we mean is that this film is being made for people like you, for those that know why the contributions and influence of the musicians that made the Canterbury Scene flourish, MUST be remembered. Are you one of us?

Listen to our interview on "Prog Rock Deep Cuts" Radio hosted by Ian Beabout about the new movie here

If interested in our project, back our campaign here: http://igg.me/at/canterburyprog  Thumbs Up

Alert: First 5 backers that contribute $100 or more starting today will receive the rare program brochure of PROGMAN COMETH, a music festival featuring Canterbury Scene music concerts in Seattle, USA, 2002. The 15-page brochure includes photos of artists such as Hugh Hopper, Richard Sinclair, Pip Pyle, Elton Dean, John Marshall, Allan Holdsworth, Phil Miller. Thanks Jeff Sherman of GLASS who donated these brochures to our campaign.

ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT!
We now have almost 220 backers for Romantic Warriors III - Canterbury Tales, which is a true testament to your faith in this project. Thank You! We are one week away from the end of our IndieGoGo fundraising campaign and have raised $13,840 to date! That means we are just $6,160 from our goal of $20K by July 11!

Check out the perks you will receive for contributing to the completion of the film!  Even if you have very little to contribute, a small no perk contribution will help us out, and it gives you access to all of the updates and behind the scenes content, exclusively for the people supporting this film.  No matter what, spreading the word by sharing this campaign with your friends helps us out immensely.

1st Prize:
If we make it to $20K by Friday, July 11, we'll hold our big prize drawings! First, for all backers who donated $30 or more, we'll draw a winner for a $100 Visa gift card.

2nd Prize:
From among our $100+ backers, one lucky person will win a set of 7 CDs, consisting of lost and recovered collector gem Robert Wyatt '68, the fantastic Forgas Band 3rd album, "Axis of Madness", and its incredibly enjoyable Forgas "Acte V" (includes a Live DVD), the deliciously Mediterranean "Optical Delusions" from Barcelona's Planeta Imaginario, the inspired Hugh Hopper's "Numero D'Vol" album, the fabulous "Steam" from Soft Machine Legacy, and the album "After the Exhibition" from Belgian masters The Wrong Object, which features the greatly talented singer-songwriter Susan Clynes. These are fantastic CDs!!

We don't have enough films like this, that bring music lovers and the progressive community together and with this film we do that. This film is being made for people like you, for those that know why the contributions of the musicians that made the Canterbury Scene flourish, MUST be remembered.

We have currently 39 hours left and are only $1,950 shy of our $20,000 goal to raise funds to complete the documentary "Romantic Warriors III - Canterbury Tales" on IndieGoGo. Now is the time to pledge and/or share the campaign to help ensure we reach the finish line. http://igg.me/at/canterburyprog
