Hey, here I'm introducing myself!
So I'm a french guy, I have been frequenting this site for 2 months now, and i got to many great prog artists and albums thanks to it 
So, I principally got into prog for a year now (yes, i'm still a newbie) thanks to pink floyd, when a friend made me listen to High Hopes (Well, it's not my fav' song of them, but it's quite accessible, so it helped me beginning my new progfan life :D), and probably thanks to my dad too, who made me listen to a lot of Ange when i was a child.
Still, my prog culture still isn't very amazing, I principally listen to pink floyd, some king crimson (especially ITCOTCK and Red), some Yes too (I'm just amazed by their live version of Siberian Khatru in Yessongs), and to other bands like Ange, a little bit of Dream Theater, VDGG. I'm enjoying a lot listening to Genesis too, but unfortunately, I haven't any of their CD's and I just have one of my friends who borrowed me "Seling England By The Pound".
More personally, as i told before, living in France, more precisely in Lyon, I'm still a young 16 years old student preparing an important exam coming in june, and excuse me if I make some English mistakes ^^"
