^Yeah the albums stuck in the frames from Moving Pictures was a GREAT IDEA!!
As well as Mars Volta's illuminating Still Life by VDGG. Another brilliant idea.
Also Dark Side of the Moon with Symphonic X(I think), really fits the prism with the mirror and all.

And once again, AMAZING JOB!!

Your new collage seems to be great work - absolutely fascinating! Sorry, but was this your fourth? Where's the thread where I can see the whole thing? It somehow seems to have escaped me. I used the Search button, but I still cannot find it. Would be grateful if you showed a link! With thanks.

Excellent work darksideof. You've got too much free time on your hands.

What app did you use? Nice clean edges on the extractions (some time spent there, I'll bet). Good use of color variations as well, overall color balances very complimentary. Maybe a bit of feathering on the shadows could help.

Hate to try and use someone else's threat to get some response, but you guys seem to appreciate art. Perhaps a few could give me an opinion on my cover artwork down in the dim and dark recesses of the  music and muscians exchange section. Once again, I apologize for sticking this in someone else's thread, but I don;t think that many people look past the progressive threads.

Thanks!! LOL but I dont have too much free time on my hands. with a 12 years daugher and wife it is etremely hard to work and I hardly have any time at all. I just made time because I love doing this kind of work.
I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. yeah the edge cleaning took me days on some of them.
I agree on that most of us don't look at other threads including myself.Ouch

here!:

Thanks for the link darksideof- responses at last!

Know what you mean about time and family. Had to give up the idea of being an artist when my kids came along. Got a haircut, got a shave, went back to school and got a BCompSc and now I deal in logic, not the anarchistic realms of creativity. But like you said- you can't give it up because you love it. And believe me, something withers inside if you don't allow the creative juices to flow every now and then.

I really like the hand/phone in your sig could have made a single work on its own. Bit like a Patrick Woodroffe statement on society.

Thanks.! If you did gave up. it is never to late to  go back.I defiantly know exactly what you mean. When my daughter was born  and I got marry the first time I said to myself the something " Well I think I should just give up being an Artist and get  a "Real J.O.B" which I did for about 5 or 6 years.I was struggling like a moron being an illustrator. designer and I hardly made any money to take care of the bills. I was doing everything else except what I love and I passion for ( being an Artist)
SO about 6 years later and I was about to divorce my first wife i finally woke up and Said to myself " Man what that hell is wrong me" I forgot who I became someone else  that isn't me" I was so angry at myself.
but happy the same time because I am not that old yet and still have time to fulfill my dream ( to have an art gallery where i can display my work and others)
Now I have a new wife and some time in the future I will have more children but I learned  in order to be a better father and husband I can't give my passion or chance who I am. It isn't easy but it isn't impossible.

nice Taking with you buddy..Big smile
