My name is Branislav, I'm 19 and I'm from Serbia. This site was  seiously a dream come true when I found it a couple of months ago. It gets difficult to keep listening to something you like when no one around you appreciates it as much as you. I don't know how it is in other places around the world, but I've been listening to prog for several years now, and I simply can't find other people who listen to any kind of prog here in Serbia. And I've tried... seriously... I've always tried to listen to as many genres as I could because I believe that music should connect people. I always try to understand the music and what the people that listen to it like about it. And I seiously like prog rock, but I simply didn't have the motivation to stick to it untill I ran into PA. The only person I could talk to about prog (until now) was my dad. Don't get me wrong - he is a great person, however, I believe that it is important to share your opinion with as many people as possible. Now I know that prog actually has quite an audience. So thanks.
I started listening to prog with Rick Wakeman's "Journey To The Center Of The Earth". I read the book, and liked it a lot, and then accidentaly found this record that my dad bought years ago... It was love at first sight :)
Later I went on to listen to many other groups... Some of my favourites are ELP, King Crimson, Yes, Caravan, Hawkwind, Focus, Jethro Tull, PFM, Roger Waters and Indexi. Many others are on the list too, just can't remember them all just now :)
I'm a little penguin, short and fat.
This is my flipper, this is my hat.

Difficult question Smile, if I had to make a 'limited' or 'survival' selection it would be:
ELP - Pictures From An Exhibition, Brain Salad Surgery
Jethro Tull - Aqualung, Thick As A Brick, Warchild, Too Old..., Songs From The Wood
King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King, Starless And Bible Black
Indexi - Modra Rijeka
Yes - Close To The Edge, Tales From...
Rick Wakeman - Journey To The Center Of The Earth, Myths And Legends..., Six Wives
Focus - Focus III, Moving Waves
Caravan - In The Land..., If I Could...
Roger Waters - Radio KAOS, Amused To Death
Pink Floyd - Ummaguma, Meddle, The Wall, DSOTM
Hawkwind - Warrior On The Edge Of Time, Hall Of The Mountain Grill
Marillion - Misplaced Childhood
PFM - Per Un Amico
These are the first that spring to my mind, but there are definitely some artists I forgot to mention
