This is definately a tough one that takes a lot of consideration. Before my real appreciation for King Crimson started, I would have answered that my #1 prog masterpiece is that often over-looked and amazing debut album by Ambrosia. If only they could have continued down the prog path. Even though I still consider that one still one of the best, I would have to say that King Crimson "Thrak" is my #1 for now. (Don't beat me up KC fans "Red" and "Lark's Tongue" often seem to take their tunrs at #1 also)
