I missed out on meeting the guys from Yes again yesterday.  I was invited but already had plans.

I'm not sure what I'd say to Yes anyway.  Chris Squire sounds like kind of a dick and Steve Howe is scary lookin'.

A friend of mine knows them well (worked as their guitar tech on a tour a couple of years ago), and Yes were in town last night, and he was going to meet up with them before or after the show.  I didn't have a ticket to the show but I could have hung out possibly for the soundcheck or something.

Starting to get back into metal. Anyone have any doom, grind, or doomgrind (?) recommendations? I've likely heard most of the obvious stuff.

Most of the lesser known bands I listen to are groups you introduced me to in the first place k. (Adrift for Days, The Angelic Process, et al) maybe Angelic Process was from Keven, I forget..
