Damn strait. For shorts anyways. The way a director friend of mine puts it, make a great short film that hits the festival circuit and then use the support from that to enter a feature into the same circuit the next year.

Man, I wish I still had any involvement in film. Used to be friends with a major film buff/budding film making, made a few scenes of his B grade horror comedy style movies, but we never finished a full film together unfortunately.

We had a budget, of about 200 bucks (which is not including the fact he already has the camera, editing software etc the budget is more to do with stuff that gets used up during the making like the materials, fake blood etc).

Me and that dude have not spoken a word in 2 years, no chance of getting any stuff off him..
