1-Tull
2-Gentle giant
3-Camel
4-Magma
5-Caravan
6-Graaf
7-Oblivion express
8-Yes
9-Genesis
10-Rush
Genesis and Yes just make my top 10. Don't really like much Yes after 72 and Gabriel era is hit and miss. Floyd and Crimson may squeeze into the top 20. Maybe not Floyd though

All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Never understood the interest in Saga ....always thought they were somewhat blasé.
I just 'discovered' Citizen Cain about 2 weeks ago.....interesting band and cover artwork.
That's Marillion with an 'r' btw.....

I thought this thread wasn't supposed to be "post your prog top 10"?
Oh well. Anyway, I guess the problem with ELP is that BSS is generally regarded to be their masterpiece and I can't even see it in the top 100, only the debut album is there in the 80s. No sign of Trilogy or Tarkus. Who knows why?
