Early period.
The Peter Banks version created some great rock/jazz tracks. "I See You" and "Every Little Thing" are two favorites.
When Howe joined for The Yes Album the group created its first masterpiece.
When Wakeman joined for Fragile, Close to the Edge and Tales..., well, three more masterpieces. Of course, Bruford leaving/White joining after Close to the Edge was a major blow from which the group never fully recovered.
When Moraz replaced Wakeman for Relayer, that, for me, was the last masterpiece of an album from the group.

Indeed the result for this poll was known before anyone started to vote. You would have needed to do some divisions within the first era in order to get more interesting results. I guess line-ups that only did one album would make such a division difficult, but I would have divieded:
- Yes, Time and a Word.
- The Yes Album, Fragile, CttE.
- Tales from Topographic Oceans, Relayer, Going for the One, Tormato, Drama. I'm not really sure about Topographic Oceans being on this period or the previous one. As well as Drama perhaps being on the 80's one. Perhaps even Relayer... it's difficult to make periods here.
- 90125, Big Generator, Union, Talk.
- Open your eyes, The Ladder.
- Keystudio, Magnification.
- Fly from here, whatever they may release next...

Think AWAKEN is a prog masterpiece too  and so is IN THE PRESENCE OF

Yeah, I mean, Yes has never made a whole album as good as the ones I mentioned above. Since then, they did have a few outstanding tracks, like the ones you mentioned.
