A simple idea: French Prog outside their national sub-genre...

Even if all french Zeuhl bands were on the poll, I'd still vote Ange.

Very tough choice here. I'm very close to go with Ange but I'll go with Taal. Skymind is one of the most essential modern prog albums out there.
Other bands that would make my choice even harder are Thork and Ocean.

There are two bands who have called me their biggest fan, and Delusion Squared is one of them.

Sloche counts right? If so - then their 2 albums edge out the others by quite a margin. If not.. Taal.

Sloche? They probably didn't record any abum with 50+ reviews on PA - this is my basic criterion to include them here.

I'd bet on Nemo - and they have currently zero votes.

it's because Sloche is from (largely) French-speaking Canada (Quebec). It's a matter of being French language rather than from France. Anyway, Art Zoyd and Igor Wakhevitch are two particular favourites of mine from France, but I love a huge amount of progressive music from France (makes up a big part of my collection).

Art Zoyd (I think they are somewhat borderline with Zeuhl), Pulsar, Black Noodle Project and Nemo are very good bands, too.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

My top French bands not listed here are: Xang, Motis, Seven Reizh, Magnesis, Progression by Failure and Patrick Broguiere, all havuing superlative albums to their name.
Ponty, Ange, Pulsar, Atoll and Mona Lisa are all legendary.
Nemo and Taal are the new boys in town.
Then you have the one shot wonders Acanthe, Angipatch, Arachnoid and Pentacle.
Lots of great "musique"

Nemo all the way.
BTW, Syrinx shouldn't be missing on that poll.
