Biko.

The bass, the pipes, everything is perfect, and his vocal interpretation is powerful

I Don't Remember for me, but Games Without Frontiers is a close second.

I echo those sentiments exactly

"No Self-Control". What a job on those synths and the guitar. Astonishing production. Psychotic. A very visceral track about spiritual survival.

I have to go with Family Snapshot. Everything is perfect here. All the songs are perfect here. But And Through The Wire is my least favorite.

Last time this topic came up I voted for Biko - PG's most powerful song.  This time I went for Games Without Frontiers.

I don't know this album, nor much from Gabriel solo... I just am not quiet so interested, for what I like least from classic Genesis is Gabriel's voice, and the album I like the least is The Lamb (which I understand is closer to what Gabriel would do solo than any other Genesis album with him). However, I may try to give this Melt album a try if I can find it, for I think it's the best rated on PA, and I heard Biko on Youtube and found it rather interesting (I have tried a few other Gabriel songs from other albums and hadn't done much for me).

^ Well, if you do have a penchant for well-produced catchy, dark, and visceral experimental pop-rock with clever and meaningful lyrics, get it now.

No self control
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Agreed.  It usually brings a tear to my eye.

I remember the last concert in Perú, 10,000 souls rising the right hand and shouting with Peter making the cry sound with his famous semi yodel

Wow. I also remember it in the back to front tour. It was in the encores. He also played No Self Control and Family Snapshot from the same album. Still, no I Don't Remember and Games without Frontiers in the show.Confused

Gah! I love that album. I picked "No Self Control" for Fripp, Kate Bush and Phil Collins' use of the gated drum effect. Did you know that no cymbals were used anywhere on the album?

Games Without Frontiers is the song that made me a Peter Gabriel fan and it gets my vote. No Self Control is not far behind.
