You need to get some interests in your life, man. Sitting there, putting out these threads is a pathetic pastime.

Yeah...Good idea, CP.

Bash me all you like....I don't give a crap. Don't mistake me for some militaristic gay activist!! You're entitled to your opinions.

Now, if this is to ruffle my feathers, because I pissed you off in some kind of way, then PM me and we can discuss.

Now, you've changed your thread title from, what was it? Oh yes: "Faggots and Queers," wasn't it?

Gutless too, eh?Clap

I hope a nice, big gay football player beats the livin' sh*te out of you, Princeling.Stern Smile

You can change your tune around here, but to some of the members the damage is done. Keep posting threads like this and no-one will acknowledge you anymore on this forum(trust me...I know of a few members who won't respond to my posts and threads because of past comments and I  haven't ever been near that incendiary.)...that is...if you don't get yourself thrown out 1st.

Damn, and I was just getting back to being all nice and friendly after the KE9 incident.

Oh well, better out in the open than pretending to be politically correct, I guess. If you're gonna be an asshole, you might as well make it obvious. Maybe there's still a chance to get the poison out before you screw up your own children, if you ever get a chance to make any.

Wow!

I just withdrew the post I was working on when CP wrote the cop bashing thread. Thought I was going to go too heavy handed and then I see this ridiculous excuse for a thread topic.

Sorry I pulled my punch.

Pathetic and childish.

Editing the post didn't really change anything, eh, Crimson Prince?

why is it that if one disapproves of gay marriage he is a bigot? he may treat a homosexual like he would any other person and yet not feel they should be entitled to the same rights as married people have, or to the right to adopt children...im not trying to play a devil's advocate, but i dont believe the issue is as black and white as people seem to be making it out to be and holding prince accountable to

I think Hopelevre's comment deserves more thought. We seem to be jumping to conclusions about our political views and whether we are bigots or not. I have a cousin who is gay and who I care for very deeply, however I don't feel and neither do I place gay marriage on the same level as a heterosexual one. By the same token I don't feel I have the right to stop a gay couple from achieving happiness.

Go figure.

CP's original Thread name said "Queer's and Faggot's"....and his post was "I hate them...what do you think?"...or something along those lines

All:

From an "official" standpoint, given that this is "Discussions not Related to Music," and that CP has not engaged in vulgarity (yet...) or personal attack (of an individual, directly), he is entitled to his opinion, and to create a thread about it, no matter how repugnant or generally divisive it might seem.

After all, if I delete this thread, does that not lead down a "slipper slope" toward the very type of unilateral, "dictatorial" censorship that no one here seems to want - and, indeed, that the admin group has no wish to undertake or enforce?

As with any thread that any of you, as individuals, finds repgunant, repellent, etc., your best choice is to ignore it.  After all, if you don't post at all, the thread will more quickly find its way to the second or third page of the category, and eventually disppaear altogether.  It is because you choose to "engage" in the thead that it remains on page one.

Think about that...

Peace.

Yes -- I for one thought about that, Maani, but I choose to expose hatred, bigotry, and evil when I find it.

I want people to know just who they are talking to around here, the better to (later) ignore them. Before becoming a social outcast, I believe the malefactor should be "named and shamed," the better to protect the innocent from unwitting association with them.

It is important to many of us to take a stand on such matters -- I don't want my silence taken for tacit approval of such hate-filled bile.Stern Smile

I will always speak against the type of hatred that this person has been spewing --  and my ability to do so is essential to my continuing to associate myself with this site. It is a matter of principle.

Neville Chamberlain's approach to evil only works for so long....

I hope that  you can understand that, old friend.Hug

How strongly does Peter feel about this subject? Strongly enough so that a professor of literature momentarily confused "principal" with "principle"!

I agree with both of you. I neither want this thread deleted or him thrown out. Whether he agrees with homosexuality or not isn't no concern of mine. He could have worded it better, but oh well.
