Bloodrock....D.O.A. - not nearly primo Bloodrock but that whole song just gives me the willies.
The Buoys....Timothy - a horrible song; they're from my hometown and by the mid-80s would show up to play weddings, graduations, etc.  Was bartending a high school reunion and the Buoys played.  When they revved up Timothy, the whole place got up and danced.....to a song about cannibalism!
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

Good call.  DOA definitely is uncomfortable listening and scared the tar out of me when I was a kid.  I'd also go with Revolution 9, if you suspend disbelief and entertain the rumor that Paul really did die, there's some very creepy things going on in there.  The entire Docteur Faust album from 1971 by Igor Wakhevitch is highly disturbing beginning to end and a great scary ride Evil Smile

If it's 'uncomfortable' then I don't have it. I only listen to music I love.

Thanks for mentioning what band was responsible for D.O.A. I never knew who performed it and now want to look up other songs they did.

I, myself, find it hard to be offended by most anything. My wife hates the song Girls of Porn by Bungle, especially the intro about banging daughters etc....

Just seems silly to let lyrics make you angry/offended. Especially when placed out of context. You can take any line from Brown Shoes Dont Make It and probably offend 90% of the people you come across, but if they only understood the context and well applied satire... well then there might just be more Zappa fans and less... let's say Trump fans. Now there is a man who makes truly offensive statements; blatant, no metaphor or symbolism, just rampant idiocy.

Just imagine what sort of song Zappa would have done on Trump.

Zappa would have had a field day or a bad hair day song or something at his expense.

Trump steak served up very rare......... Maybe an entire double album

Oh Frank would have a field day with certain candidates on the US circuit right now. One can only dream of the scathing content with  matching offensive-type guitar solos... Things have got so... interesting... that Trouble Everyday might be a numero uno hit single...

I'm still sad that FZ died before the whole Dubya-->9/11-->WMD-->Iraq invasion series of events.  He would have been the only musician (besides Henry Rollins and the Dixie Chicks) in post 9/11 America who would have truly spoken his mind regardless of the consequences.  This famous FZ quote still applies to politics in 2016 and possibly forever:

"Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe." - FZ
