This Is the Glasshouse for Eclectic

Possibly post. This is prog in the vein of Black Country, New Road. A mix of indie, alternative, post-punk, art rock, post and math rock, emo, chamber pop, and some other categories that could be tossed in.

Bio: This Is the Glasshouse is a musical project of one Ezekiel Dukart with a slew supporting musicians. Dukart hails from the Yukon Territory. The title of his third album 867 comes from the area code from where he is from. There’s emotional starkness that seems reflective of the environment he grew up in. This is a young artist to watch out for as his second album was written and recorded as a student at University of Victoria with his classmates as collaborators.

His first full length album Something Underwater was released in 2022, followed by Small As Ants in 2023, and 867 in 2023. He is a multi-instrumentalist contributing lead vocals, piano, guitars, bass, percussion, and other instruments to his recordings.

My recommendation is to start listening to his 2023 and 2024 albums As Small As Ants and 867.

Ezekiel and some of his friends started a college alt rock band last year initially called Sonder, and subsequently renamed Rashdale, who mostly play stuff that they write together, as well as a couple TITGH songs from time to time.

I'm 99.9% certain that he's the guy in the yellow hat in the middle of this photo:

If you watch some of his 'This Is The Glasshouse / Waved' YouTube videos, you'll see him (and especially his dog lol!) in quite a few of them, but in very grainy resolution, which means his face is difficult to make out. However, I think the fairly clear image of that same yellow hat again at the beginning of this one is a bit of a giveaway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_a12Az8SCA.

If nothing else turns up, a crop of his face from that photo above could probably be used as the image on his page.
