A while back I saw a poll with Genesis and Marillion in it - I thought it was some sort of joke.
Pick your favorite... For me, it is IQ.

Marillion. Because they stopped sounding neo prog decades ago.

IQ is the only neo prog band I dig.

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Probably I.Q. But all 3 bands are high on my chart. I don't even know what style MARILLION plays these days. F.E.A.R. is fantastic, and miles away from 'Neo' tbh.

Marillion by far. IQ has been great since the Seventh House, but to me their earlier albums suffer from bad production and inconsistency. Pendragon suffers(for me) from terrible vocals.

A GREAT YEAR FOR PROG!!!

I like all three bands, but have voted for Marillion. I finally got to see them live last fall and they put on an excellent show.

All of them are fantastic bands, but IQ have probably made great music for a little bit longer than the rest, so i choose them. Just.

Yes. They did stop their prog tendencies long time ago.

Out of these IQ by quite a margin. My favorite British "neo-prog" band is Arena though.

Holly crap!.... Two of my favourite bands IQ and Pendragon. Cannot vote because of this... Another band to mention from the same era is Twelfth Night!

I wouldn't say that I'm a fan of any of these three, but IQ did put out one classic as far as I'm concerned - Tales From The Lush Attic - where they did Genesis better than Genesis ever did.

Me too... For some reason I decided not to add them.
I am creating a new poll between IQ and Arena.

Do it. That would be an amazing poll. I struggle to pick one over the other. I just can't.
