I am a 13 year old relatively new fan of prog rock, and here are 15 of my current favourite bands/artists:

I've started to love Alice in Chains for some reason, but I don't like the scene they're generally mashed with, so it confuses me a bit.

Welcome, soljacques8! Lots of good ol' 70s prog in your list! Porcupine Tree and Pineapple Thief of course are more recent. Keep listening and exploring similar (or different) artists - so many here in Prog Archives to choose from...

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. The archives are an immense resource. Sometimes I will go into it, pick a few bands and sample their work. It's led me to discover music I never would have otherwise discovered.
