^ & ^^ wooh - I used to have most Zepp LP's, but I've only hung on to III and Prescence I honestly think most albums of theirs are marred by dopey tracks which rub me the wrong way, plus I can only take Plant in small doses because of his oooh's and push push pelvic thrusting vocalising jargon.......
Great description III is great but I never liked the last two tracks much, it always seemed like a weak ending My favourite is "Houses of the Holy" and I think even less people will agree with me
Friday: Calibro 35 - Ogni Riferimento a Persone Esistenti o a Fatti Realmente Accaduti È Puramente Casuale Ash - Free All Angels Esfera - All The Colours of Madness La Coscienza di Zeno - s/t Hiromi - Spark Banda do Casaco - Hoje Há Conquilhas, Amanhã Não Sabemos
Saturday: Trilogy - Here It Is Yes - Going for the One Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (Until two years ago I considered "Welcome to the Machine" the weakest track of the album and now it's one of my favourite Floyd tracks. It's a much more interesting take on Electronic music than "On the Run", in my opinion. I guess I was more into Gilmour's solos than Wright's magical atmospheres. He sure used a lot of String Ensemble on that album.)

FEM - Sulla Bolla di Sapone (A difficult album to listen in one sitting, not because the music is bad (every track is excellent!) but because of the production: very confusing with too many overdubs which becomes worse with the amount of compression it has. I'm glad it has two calmer tracks, to rest the ears... and the head )

Catch up for the last few days:
Transatlantic - Kaleidoscope (nope, still a bit dull for me. A totally reliable background listen yet unexciting) Michael Bruckner – Eternal Mind Portal Rick Wakeman – Journey to the Centre of the Earth P.F.M – Paper Cuts Live - disc one: BBC Radio One Live in Concert 21st May 1975 P.F.M - Live Collection: 25th November 1980 (CD/DVD) - The band may look daggy in their late 70's/early 80's fashions, but the performance is still great. Nuova Idea – Clowns Osanna – Milano Calibro 9 New Trolls – Concerto Grosso Mick Chillage – Infinite Perspectives Steve Roach and Robert Logan – Second Nature
Alva - Ja Tik Butu - glad I took a blind chance on this CD reissue from 1978. Mixes everything in from prog-folk, psych, slight indo/raga elements and acid rock with a rough do-it-yourself production (pretty sure you can hear the guitars going out of tune here and there as well! ) Considering it's from 1978 it also oddly sounds like a Sixties album with a touch of 80's indie pop in the production in a few spots!
