Topic: Dave Stewart Posted: March 29 2015 at 11:21 |
The decade of the seventies was very good to Dave Stewart(and us) as he has blessed us with some incredible albums over that 10 year period. I realize this is an impossible poll so if you don't want to vote feel free to mention some of your highlights by this amazing keyboardist.

Don't know his work with Bruford, but I love all the others. Sorry John, that's an impossible vote.

Every (Prog) album Dave touches turns to magic. I still go with Space Shanty, his efforts on this album are so colourful. Love his sounds, and every note/chord he chooses to play is perfect.

Either the Hatfield albums or the National Health albums. I'll find a way to vote for all four.

Space shanty is full of pretty bland songs I think. The best parts are the instrumental passages. Take those out and you are left with a straight rock album
|
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.
